John was an amazing host!! We booked his place last second for a night away and John not only went over there to turn the fireplace on, he made sure to salt the entrance way and to let us know it might be a little icy. The place lived up to the description and pictures. What a hidden gem just minutes from Cadillac. We were only there for about 14 hours so we didn't get to enjoy much other than the amazing views and the hot tub. We will definitely be booking this place again for a longer stay.

This was a great stay for an extended family ski vacation with kids. We enjoyed using the hot tub, movie room, and had plenty of room for all of our families. The kids loved having a large space to run around and play hide and seek, as well as the arcade games. John was responsive and helpful and we would absolutely stay again.

Our stay was great! The house was comfortable, like home. The beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable! The hot tub was perfect to relax in after a long day. The kitchen had pretty much anything we needed to cook all our meals. The host was very easy to communicate with through out the trip and even dropped off some salt after some freezing rain. There is another suit next door but you cannot hear anything over there so it still feels very private. The location was easy to find and close to all the major stores. We had a great family Christmas trip and will be back!

We had a large group for a ski and snow board weekend. This location and accommodations met our expectations and was very spacious. The theater room was a nice spot for unwinding in the evening. The beds were very comfortable.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. It was clean, easy to find and we felt at home. So much for our kids to do at John’s house. We recommend if you have a big family traveling together as there is enough room for everyone.

We loved it here! Place was very clean, property was peaceful and a nice get away! The pond was cool tons of turtles! Not meant for a swimming spot if that’s what you’re looking for but there’s a few beaches not too far. Definitely would love to come back. Thank you John!

This is a great place that has amazing scenery and plenty to do while there. The house has plenty of room inside and out and lots of beds. It was a perfect little place to rent for the weekend. It has a beautiful fire pit and a relaxing hot tub. There’s also plenty of parking and It’s a short drive to downtown Cadillac as well.
